How do you play?
Playing Hide&Scent comes naturally to a dog as it taps into their instinctual desire to sniff. Simply introduce our specially formulated scents to your dog so they know what smell they are trying to find, and then you're ready to play! Step-by-step playing instructions are included with every game.
Are all dogs able to play?
Yes! As long as they can smell, they can play!
Is this game appropriate for children to play with their dogs?
We have Hide&Scent Kids Edition for children ages 13 and up. It's a fantastic game for kids who enjoy playing hide and seek!
What ingredients are in your scents?
We use all-natural essential oils in our scent formulations. Each scent stone is uniquely formulated with dogs in mind (you may not like the smell, but they will!). While the oils used are non-toxic, dogs should not bite, chew, or ingest the scent stones.
Is it safe for my dog to eat?
No - dog's should be prevented from eat any game components.
Where is your product made?
Scent stones are crafted in small batches in France and the USA.
How long do the scents last?
Our scent stones are crafted using patented ceramic technology, engineered to retain scent for extended periods. With proper storage, expect the scent to last for six months. Over time, the strength of the scent will fade, but remember, dogs have a superior sense of smell, so what may seem faint to you will still be potent for them!
Care Questions
How do I store the scent stone?
Store the scent stone back in the box when not in use to preserve its scent for a longer duration.
What do I do after I've handled the scent stone?
After touching the scent stone, be sure to wash your hands to prevent transferring the scent to other objects, as this may confuse your dog when they are playing the game.
Can my dog chew on the scent stone?
Supervision is key: No chewing allowed! Keep a close eye on your dog during playtime. If your dog tries biting the pouch with the scent stone, consider placing it inside a cardboard box with holes, hanging it, or wearing it.
